Simple test tiles I used to see two things:
-How glaze settles in textured areas
-How overlay glazes look
In our Ceramics classes, overlaying isn't allowed until Ceramics 4, but he said I could overlay on tiles if I wanted.
The tops and bottoms of the tiles are pure forms of the glazes and the middle is when they overlap.
